Gandalf the Grey (b. ?? – d. ??)
Thanks to
J. R. R. Tolkien, we have the celebrity leadership guru known to some of his
contemporaries as Greyhame or Stormcrow, and known to us as Gandalf the Grey.
Gandalf was
a wizard, no doubt about it.
One of his
fundamental strategic management principles was very simple:
